Timmerman Trail

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to dump the holding tanks?

No! If you are at a full hook up site, we will set everything up for you so that you dont have to do anything. However, if you are staying longer than 3 days, we will teach you how to pull the lever,  just in case.

What do you provide?

We provide sheets for all beds, pillows, and lightweight blankets. We will have sheet sets for the sofa bed too, if requested. We have bath linens and kitchen linens.  There is a coffee maker and a toaster, pots and pans, plates, cups, glasses, silverware, and cooking utensils. We have dish soap, hand soap, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper as well.

Are there extra fees?

– There is a 4% fee when using your credit card. This is passed on from our merchant service company.

– If you are requesting to rent a coach at somewhere other than a campground, we may require a trip to the property to assess the space to make sure it is appropriate.  If so, there is a $50 survey fee.

– If you reserve a site at a campground, but are thinking you want a coach that is bigger than the site says, we can do the recon for you, to see if it can work. Depending on which campground there is an hourly fee for that to cover fuel and time.

– If we come out to empty your holding tanks during your stay, there is a charge of $150.

What is the security deposit? Will I get it back?

The security deposit is $1000. It’s the deductible on the insurance policy should there be an issue. When we bring the coach, and when we pick up the coach, we go over the condition with you so that we agree and can return your deposit. If there is an issue we try to be very fair about costs of repairs.

Can I bring my fur baby?

Your fur family is welcome in most of our campers. We have other owners that work with us, and they set their rules. Just ask us! There is an additional deposit for pets. For the pet friendly coaches, your baby must be kenneled when unattended.

Are your campers clean?

Linens are laundered, surfaces are cleaned and sanitized, and dishes are washed! The cleaning fee also includes the propane, so you don’t have to worry about refilling it.

How do I know how to operate the camper?

When we deliver and set up, we will teach you all about the operation of the camper, and make sure you understand everything. If you have any questions, we are always available by text message.

What if I have a question or problem?

We are available by text anytime. We do sleep and stop answering about 9 pm. In the case of an emergency that can’t wait, you may call us. We provide you with phone numbers at delivery.

How far will you deliver?

So far we have delivered about 250 miles from our location. The 1st 50 miles are included in the delivery fee: anything after that is calculated per mile for 1 roundtrip.  Included in this cost is emptying the tanks for you at the end of your stay.

Do I have to be there when you bring it?

We prefer that you are. If you can’t, if possible, we will come back to you to teach you the operation, and to go over condition of the coach.

Do I have to be there when you pick it up?

We prefer that you are. Again, it is for your protection that we walk through together at the end. (sometimes we find things you thought you packed!)

Do you have other things I can rent to make my trip easier?

For an additional charge, we rent generators (not the super quiet ones), camping chairs, tabletop grills, counter top icemaker, extra outdoor tables, playpens, high chairs, dog runs, and kayaks.  We have also added a golf cart to our offerings. Ask us for pricing and availability.  If there is something else you don’t see here, just ask, we may be able to accomodate your request.

Campers Can Be Rented On-Site!

If you can't find a spot at a campground, any of our campers can also be rented onsite, when available. We have plenty of parking for watercraft!

We are near Clemson/Greenville and have plenty of nearby lake access, hiking trails, waterfalls, and beaches.

If you're planning a trip to the Midwest, www.hallmacrvrentals.com has campers available for rent out of Michigan.

We have a great time at Mile Creek Campground on Lake Keowee. The camper was perfect and had everything we needed.  It was nice to have a family weekend making memories.  We hope to be able to come back soon.

The Williams Family

This was our first RV camping experience and it was awesome.  The whole family enjoyed it and made memories for a lifetime.

Linda and her family were super responsive and gracious from questions before booking to checking out. My family of six ended up with a weekend of heavy rain and didn’t get to do the hiking we originally intended to do. However, the camper was cozy and made for a great time just watching movies, playing games, reading, having good conversations, good food, and enjoying the farm animals. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Felt a little guilty eating my hamburgers from the grill while watching the cows in the pasture… but I still had seconds. :p We’ll definitely visit again.

Your trailer is a perfect fit for our small family.  It has been a pleasure to meet your family. Thanks for the eggs and S’mores! Hope to rent again soon.

Linda, Anthony, and their daughter Leah were very friendly and easy to connect with for communication.  The camper had everything we needed.  It was large and on my property.
